Wire question

I'm redoing my entire interior and when I pulled the glove box out there was a large harness of wires hanging down that had been cut and capped off. There was also a large yellow wire spliced into a harness that plugged in near the passenger door. the wire ran down under the starter and when I unplugged the harness it's tapped into the motor would crank but not start. I don't know what either of these are and was wondering if I could get some clarification...I'll post the pics as soon as I get them up....

Thx...

Here are a few pics of the wires. The yellow one is the one that caused the motor to not start when I unplugged the harness it's spliced into. The other harness is just hanging there and I'm not sure what it goes to...Everything works fine and it starts right up too...

yea some ones had fun in there the harness with all the wires looks like its for your radio as for the other not sure

I didn't realize the pics were so huge...I thought the one might be the radio harness. I have no idea what the other yellow one is. but it goes down under the starter.

Aftermarket radio, alarm, or remote starter harness ?

Concur, it's too bad the PO didn't buck up the extra $10 for the factory plug adapter for the head unit. I would get that crap out of there, I'm guessing that the hot wire is still hot? Random open circuits are never a good idea.
