What are your goals? That amp has a minimum impedance of 4 Ohms per channel. The 4Runner dash speaker and door speakers are wired in parallel, so be careful as you may fry it running it as currently wired if using 4 Ohm speakers. You will need to do some wiring work, so unlikely a plug and play solution.

Good question.
I upgraded the speakers to Focals and it helped quite a bit but the eq is just off, tons of mid range and it sound like I’m in a tunnel. I think they do this to protect the factory speakers. I was hoping to get an amp with an EQ to flatten the sound just like my Denon in my family room with Audyssey.
I am also considering the OEM Audio + System 500 but I was hoping to resolve the sound issue for a little less money.
I’m open to ideas.
EDIT: I didn’t see your entire response on my phone. There are many people in this forum that have install the Kicker Key in their 5th Gen without issue. Has something changed?

The '20 has a different head unit. There's nothing really available yet, and I'm waiting on the Meastro units to hit the market. I spoke with them about a month ago and they said it's in the works, but no ETA. I think you're going to have to sit back and wait.
Yep, sure seems that way. The good part is I'm not in a rush.
