WMW Full Length Rack for 4th Gen T4R's!!

What kind of accessory attachments have you found for you AL extrusions on your Prisnu Rack? Do you have the dimensions of the cross bars? Height and width? They look like the standard HFS6 extrusions that misumi, mcmaster and other industrial suppliers sell, but they don't necessarily sell any attachment features that would be geared towards offroading.

Also according to their 4th gen instructions, you need a "knife, flat head screwdriver or other flat figid object" to remove the old rack.
That always is a bit of a red flag when buying something, specially when I notice the typos because I'm not an English professor, I'm an engineer. I just work with numbers.

Prinsu's been around for a long time in the Tacoma scene and they're very well regarded there, regardless of their spelling issues.

And [MENTION=101553]t-man[/MENTION] is right, there should be a separate thread for Prinsu, but so far only one person has it.

The Crossbars are 47" across. They appear to be the standard stuff available from 80-20.net or knock-off suppliers.

The key is the pattern of the side pieces, and their makeup. They're very strong and even a guy of my size (not tiny) can stand up there on the crossbars, no problem.

I don't care about his website or his grammar, I've seen his product on Tacomas and and waited until he came out with this for the 4th gen. I did not look at others or consider other brands as an option. I wanted the contoured fit only he offers. Although I'm somewhat of a grammar nazi myself, I knew how good these racks were before I purchased.

The prinsu rack is awesome and as custom fit as they come. They are also the only ones that come in aluminum. Gobi's going all nazi with the way they welded a 1/4 piece of steel to a 1 in tube is insane. Water jet/ custom milling and less money then gobi. Sounds like the way to go.

One of the draws the Witson has for me besides looking damn sweet is/was that the price point would be kinder on my wallet than Gobi's. The right price you speak of sounds like I might have to buy a Stealth to break even. 3

MyHigh, that would work with a very small group, and no public posts outlining the intentions of said group. Like when my friends buy me 2 five gallon buckets of local honey and a bunch of clean glass bottles, and I just happen to show up to their wedding with mead.

Yes you can. I have this rack too it's quite modular.

So is Baja racks not making racks for the 4gens anymore? The Baja racks look like a good alternative to the WMW racks. I found that Cabe Toyota of Long Beach a Toyota dealership pretty local to me is an authorized distributor for Baja and at $750 it's a way better price that the Gobi rack.

Awesome Josh! Glad to see you got a 4th gen to build a jig off of. These things are going to be really popular. I LOVE my 3rd gen rack and the build quality is top notch. Josh was also a great guy to deal with and I would not hesitate buying a product from him again.

That is the namesake of this thread. . .it was made by Joshua Whitson out of Florida. He had a 3rd gen and started with 3rd gen 4runners, before creating 4th gen ones. Unfortunately Gobi put him under so he isn't producing anymore.
