Police are searching for a woman who ran over an officer’s foot overnight in South Dallas.
The officer was dispatched about 1:45 a.m. Monday after someone reported a stabbing in the 2600 Robert B Cullum Boulevard.
There was no sign of a stabbing victim, but police did find the woman parked in a white Toyota 4Runner. When the officer approached the SUV, the driver fled, running over his foot in the process.
The officer was taken to Baylor University Medical Center for treatment.
After a short chase, the woman abandoned the SUV on DART tracks near Lamar and Parnell streets. She ran away and remains at large, despite a search that included K-9 dogs and the police helicopter.
A detailed description of the suspect was not released.
