won't start

Ok, so as some know, I picked up this 1995 4runner that had been rolled a few months ago and I've been (on and off) trying to get it fixed up so it can be my daily driver. When I first bought it, it barely ran, but it did run....

now it doesn't even start. replaced the battery, spark plugs, fuel filter, fuel pump, checked all the fuel lines and intake and no dice. Its getting spark and I think it has compression since it ran before but I'm completely lsot on what to check next. fuel pressure regulator maybe?

any ideas would be a BIG help! Thanks!

clicking or other noises?

Does the starter spin at all? What noises does it make as you turn the key from accessory to ignition?

a 95 with the 4 cylinder or the 3 slow V6? it helps to post up your vehicle details within your signature for example. see mine below as an example-covers the bases so you don't have to re-explain each time.

must be getting expensive throwing all these parts at it...post up your location within your name-there may be one of us a mere moment away to listen and advise locally. The connector at the airbox damaged in any way? you pull the connector and look for bent pins?

Don't hesitate to post up in your respective forum, your 95 would be the final year of Generation 2 for 4Runners. Also YOTA TECH a most helpful site as well.
