Hey all, we hit 1,500 members yesterday when "Tom" joined up! We're starting to grow really fast - seems like just yesterday we hit 1,000 members. To commemorate this milestone Tom wins a free T4R.ORG sticker I'd like to thank my co-founder Thai, the moderators and all our members for making this such a successful site!

Lets see, sharp4runr registered January 20, 2004. That is less than 3 months to hit 1,500. That means at the current rate we will hit 2,000 by July 20th or so. But we are growing faster everyday. I predict, sharp4runr's birthday which is July 4, we will hit 2,000 members. You heard it here first.

He really was the 1000th member. After he registered we told him he was the 1000th memeber and he changed his title under his name to "Member 1000".

As far as being the 2000th member, maybe I'll ask my Wife to register, of course she would make just one post, " Everyone needs to get a life". On second thought, maybe I won't ask her to register.

History lesson

Are any of the "old-timers" keeping a thread with the history of this site? It can't be that old but then again things move real quick in cyberspace.

Did someone say History??? I'll take a stab at it. I think this started around November 2002. GatorGreg and Thai started the forum. In the beginning Thai would post tons of posts and if no one answered, he would answer his own post. It was kind of like a one man band playing along, eventually some people started jumping in.

It took over a year to get 1,000 members.

Now we may hit 2,000 in 6 months. The moderators were just regular members posting and were asked to help with this forum. I am not a computer guy, but being a moderator on this forum has been fun and most everyone has been great, except for the guy who decided to post his porn commericals on every thread, that was not fun.
