Woops - Lifting mistake

What are your mid hub to fender measurements after making the adjustments?

24 up front, and 23 in back... So still not great. I've decided that I will just have to fast track my winch bumper build before my CV's go out lol. The race is on!

I still have no idea why it is so high. I do keep a lot of weight in the back (I measured these with all the old springs, my tools, spare, dual battery, etc. in the back) and all I can think is that maybe this is causing the rear axle to act like a fulcrum and lift up the front.

Another possibility I just though of is I installed a new bushing kit for the coilover, and if I mixed up the upper and lower bushings could that have an affect on how high it is riding?

When I installed it I put the hard bushing on the bottom and soft on the top:

Those are similar measure measurements I got with my lift with the front coilovers set as it came from toytec:
front 23.75
rear 22.75

I know I could have adjusted the front coils down but the alignment specs weren't bad and it handles fine as a DD. So I opted to get taller 861 coils in the rear to get some rake (don't have the new coils installed yet so no measurements at this time). I'm sure the new bumper and winch you plan to get will help level things out once everything settles.
 
...by the way, how does it handle/drive after you made the adjustments?

It drives pretty well up until 60 where the steering wheel starts to vibrate. I don't know if this is the fault of the lift or the fact that I rotated the tires or from the alignment I got, but it's not bad and I usually don't drive over 65 anyways. Soaks up the bumps on dirt road much better which I like!:bluejump:
 
Vibration in the steering wheel at those speeds are prbly bc the wheels are off balance. There have been occasions where i had to take my previous car in a few different times before the wheels where properly balanced in order to eliminate the vibration at high speeds.
 
Panhard Drop

After my lift I was experiencing some vibration at 60-65 mph before I put my panhard drop on. I have 891s in the rear so it's not a huge lift and the axle was only displaced ~1". I know even small vibrations will tear a car to pieces, so I decided to make a panhard drop from 2.5"x1/4" square tube by cutting off one of the sides and drilling holes 3" apart. Literally took 30 minutes and 10 bucks to make ($50 is a huge ripoff toytech). Anyways, installed and welded in the panhard drop and now the vibrations are nearly gone! (what's left could be a wheel balance problem or pinion angle) My next step is going to be to build myself some longer rear upper control arms to correct the pinion angle and then I should be set! Just wanted to share this experience in case anyone was unsure of whether to get the panhard drop or not, even on a mild 891 lift. Love my lift by the way, it kicks ass.
