woot! new 2008 urban runner owner!

What tint did you use and how much did it set you back? I am looking to tint my Runner and want to use some high quality stuff.

I got the Geoshield 50% Ceramic tint all around except the front windows which are Suntek 35%. I believe it cost me around $450 installed as part of the Bra+Tint Package. Ceramic costs around twice as much as regular tint, and reflects about %20 more heat (Mine was 67% w/ respect to 47%. Now this might not seem a lot, but when you are in California in plenty of heat all year round, it equates to a much cooler car. It makes a difference when your interior is 80 degrees instead of 100. Plus, my car is Black with dark interior, so it burns up. I wanted the best protection there is for the car (since I will be owning it 7-10 years) and also to keep my puppy cool for the occasions he has to wait in the car for us.

depends on the options i think some dealerships are asking upwards of 38k i got mine for 33k loaded.

im going to get my windows tinted possibly tomorrow if they hook me up on a good price. i have before pics so ill get some after pics. i plan on going 15% all around

Yes, the back windows are darker. Starting from the the B-pillar, Toyota windows come 20% tinted, so when you add the new tint, it makes it even darker. I would also like the same look all around, but front window tint is Illegal in California, and I am pushing it as it is with mine... I love the look, and cops can still see the inside...barely...

Well after 2 days w/o my car and a 10 mile walk (long story.... apparently black on black Lambo's take precedence over a 4Runner) I got my car back from the shop and I now have a full clear bra installed. The front end is covered like a Jimmy. The bumper wrap is perfect they tucked into every nook and cranny on the bumper and it wraps back under the wheel wells and under the bottom of bumper. The whole grill is covered except the emblem. Along with the hood headlights side mirrors fenders and door handle areas and thats all i can remember now
