Woot new tailgate!

ok so i took 3 tailgates and combined them to make a new non rust gate finally mine was in horrible condition rusted completely on bottom

Took 1 shell and trim piece
Window and assemble from another
And latches from another

also took 4 4" led strips 6 leds per strip for new licence plate lights here are some pics.

ground down the toyota on the trim and painted black will do something to it later

little brighter than i expected but they should dull up a bit over time

they have an 3m adhesive strip on the back but i used rhino glue to hold i wouldn't have to worried about them falling off for sure.

The both license plate bulbs burned out on my wife's LC. I had a couple of 5 LED 168 bulbs. I put them in and they were way too bright. I need to find some single LED 168 bulbs. The same bulbs work great in the parking lights in front.

check out super bright leds.. I just got some for my license plate, the three led 120* angle ones.
