I just ordered the airlift 1000 setup for my 08 urban runner v6 4x4. Has anyone purchased the compressor kit that goes along with it? I almost pulled the trigger on the 5100s too but am waiting because I am having a hard time finding the FJ springs. I was looking at the tranny coolers some of you guys had installed and found the tranny cooler but had a hard time finding the proper parts kit to get that will connect everything. Does this come with the cooler or is it an addition kit purchase? maybe i am just looking in the wrong place! I can't wait for dune season as i am preparing the 4runner for some towing trips. It has towed well but will do even better now with the upgrades. Anyone on here from the phx metro area? we are always looking for more people to go to the dunes with!!!! Thanks for the input. Kyle

Airlift 1000 shipped today along with the tranny cooler (B&M 70264) and temp gauge kit(B&M 80212). I ordered the bilstein 5100s yesterday and confirmed shipping today. I was surprised they actually had them in stock at 4wheelparts.com. it seems a couple of overzealous people are looking for springs on the fj forum...those guys don't like mass posting to find a set of springs. one guy said he would keep the springs since the person asking for them was going to get them and then unsubscribe, if thats the right word, their forum. Anyways, i contacted a guy in florida and he bought a fj cruiser in 07 and took it straight to a shop and had all aftermarket suspension put on. turns out his springs with 300 miles on them are still sitting in his garage. tomorrow they will be in the mail coming to my house for the huge sum of $50 plus shipping. The springs are said to have roughly 300 miles on them. spidertrax spacers, sway bar bushings F/R are currently being ordered as soon as i finish this post. That leaves the following

The compressor for the air bags should be here Thursday and the FJ springs will be here friday. For those that are actually reading this sort of get parts together slowly turning into a build thread, i will be taking lots of pictures and would love to upload them during the process...here is the issue. everytime i try and upload pictures into a message like this it never works. could someone help a computer rookie figure this out? i am not sure if i am going to do the work this weekend or next. its supposed to cool down this weekend to only a high of 95 instead of the 106 it was today. next weekend is supposed to be even cooler. can't wait...thats all for now...
well, the air compressor came in today for the airlift 1000 not sure how well that tiny ass thing is going to work. oh well. we will see. the springs are supposed to be delivered tomorrow before the end of the day. i have now started looking for a HH 70779 and a good weight distribution set up. does anyone have one or know a good setup to get? please let me know. also, the wife wants me to get something that i think is wasted money but haven't seen on another 4 runner out here. vision x tantrum lights i believe thats what they are called. they are rock lights that mount underneath the vehicle. she wants them so we can turn them on while driving around the dunes at night. i think it would look pretty sweet but totally wasted money. she is good at doing that on other things, coach purses, etc. whatever. can't wait til tomorrow then i can finally get started on the build.
