Worked on the runner today

Well replaced my dash lights, a/c control panel lights, and figured out my alternater is making a noise so gonna replace it tomorrow when i go to work. My 4 wheel drive light won't light up in the dash bulb is good and i can hear something engaging under the vehicle so Im stuck on that till i get some ideas to start troubleshooting. Really digging my runner. I wanna paint my wheels black and do my emblems black also. Wheels no problem but the emblems not sure on how to remove them without breaking them.

Got my new alternator put on today and no more whine. Now onto figuring out my 4wheel drive problem.

You could just plasti-dip the emblems or if you're set on taking them off and painting them, you'll be able to do it with a heat gun/blow dryer. Point of that is just to heat up the adhesive, you can either pull them off or go a safer route and use fishing line to get behind them emblems.

I don't know much about plasti dip but I've heard a lot about it. I might look into it to do my wheels and emblems.
