Hello. I recently bought a used '05 4runner. I changed the spark plugs and found that the plugs on the passenger's side were worn to about .052-.055 and the plugs on the driver's side were worn to about .060-.065 (and they were a different brand.) From your experiences, what are the gaps of the old plugs when you remove them at the scheduled maintenance interval?

with the v-6, I've checked after 30,000 miles and couldn't detect a measurable change in gap - within a thousandth or two. I changed the first set after 30,000 to comply with mfr's recommendation. After 60,000 miles I'm leaving the second set in longer as the plugs look very good.
After reading a few more threads on spark plugs I'm guessing these were the originals because the passenger's side were Denso and the driver's side were NGK. I guess that should settle arguments about which one's last longer, the Denso looked quite a bit better and were 100 of an inch less worn. The NGK looked very thin and brittle.
