Worthwhile PM services?

We are moving to CO in the next few months and our new place doesn't have a garage. So I would like to do as much PM to the old girl while I can so I don't have to do it in the street / have a shop do it.

230,000 miles.

Replaced within the last 5,000 miles

• LBJs
• Inner/outer tierods
• Tundra brake upgrade
• Radiator
• B&M Transcooler
• Old Man Emu Springs +5100 shocks
• Timing belt + all other belts + water pump
• Rear diff rebuilt
• Upgraded front swaybar end links
• Front/rear diff breathers

Is there anything else I should consider? I am probably going to replace the steering rack since I have a small leak, going to do a full transmission/diff fluid swap and I have to look at my push button 4wd (AWD mode button) since it's no longer engaging.

Just looking to make it as reliable as possible for when I start throwing these CO trails at it!

There's a bunch of stuff you could do. Some is probably more fruitful than others depending on how much you're looking to spend.

If I had the time I'd probably do these things. I did most of them around your mileage. These are relatively in the order of how I would do them if none of these are actively causing problems and you are doing it strictly as PM.

Rebuild starter with new contacts
Replace fuel pump
Replace fuel filter
Replace upper ball joints
Replace O2 sensors
Tack weld/roll pin in the steering column
Power steering fluid
Transfer case front output shaft seal (tough call if it isn't leaking, but it seems that most do leak, especially around that mileage)
Lower and upper control arm bushings
Grease driveshafts
Valve cover gaskets
Rear wheel bearings/seals
Front diff seals/reboot/replace CVs
PCV and grommet replacement
Shifter bushings
Rear hatch struts
Oil cooler gaskets/hoses
Rebuild door checkers/stoppers

What Unner said above plus I would consider flushing the power steering fluid. Transmission/transfer case/front diff/rear diff fluids are good things to replace as well.

You already hit the big ones. From here on out it's in the range of 'optional'. I repair things when they need it, no sense in spending a lot of money on things that may or may not ever need to be replaced. Many things can be done in the back of the apt complex in the evening that won't drip or make a mess. Been there done that.

I'm not sure about the trans cooler. You'll deal with a lot of hills but also a lot of cold starts? I'd put in a new OEM radiator, Toyota coolant, OE thermostat (correct way up), radiator hoses, AT pass through hoses, and ATF replacement. Check brakes over really good and a brake flush. Alternator brushes. During valve covers: half moons, cam plugs, spark plug grommets, spark plugs, wires, clean throttle body, clean IAC, clean MAF, air filter.

Edit: nvm I see you already did radiator.

The steering racks leak. As long as it's not dripping I wouldn't care much if no other symptoms, just keep the fluid clean and full. Wait until you need new inner tie rods to change the steering rack, it comes with them.

Yes you're right, I put Valvoline Maxlife synthetic Dexron VI in the 3rd gen. I forgot what I've been putting in what at this point. WS goes in 5 gen.
