I happen to be a staunch and dedicated seat belt user and would be even if wearing one wasn't mandatory in my state. Thus, I really don't mind the chime to remind me to buckle up. BUT...
There are the rare occasions when I don't want to wear a belt and don't want the chime going off - say, for example, when I'm driving around the farm getting in and out checking trail cameras or something like that.
Would it work to just go to the salvage yard and get the male part of the seat belt buckle and when necessary, just click it in the other part? Would that fool the computer? I suppose I could just buckle the belt behind my back but I don't think that'd be very comfortable.
