Would using online Rock Auto third party discount codes be a good idea?

Actually not limited to Rock Auto at all but these sites offer discount codes to many other vendors as well. Is it risky to click on these codes? Or is it s ploy to but even more cookies or worse in ones browser? I could guess but does anyone know what their underlying motive is?

Use your common sense and judgement. You can also google for discount codes to use at check out for most online retailers.

I don't "CLICK" to get a code. If it does happen, pop up blocker prevents most of that click bait crud.

Retailmenot is one of those discount sites.
They are well known and I have used them a ton. Just be careful and use common sense. I personally would steer away from sites named Fakecoupons.com or Givemeyourinfo

Thanks, for me part of being careful is seeking the experience of those who have experience. I believe this place was called: top1promocode.com.

Yes goggled Rock Auto dicount codes. I questioned my judgement in even going to such a site (that's the click I'm referring to I believe the code could be cut and pates). The offer is free shipping for April orders. My order will be heavy. I wonder where these codes come from and what the marketing angle is?
