WTB 1999 "Highlander Edition"

I need the help of the experts on this forum to search every craigslist ad in their area and find this one.

Looking for a 99 highlander edition, prefer black.

I sold my 2011 TE, and found one, but the guy sold it before I could get down there to pay him. (Guy had a one owner, Carfax certified with locking differential for $6850... Didn't know what he had!) So now I am without a car, which as a territory rep for my company, makes it hard to work.

Reason is due to the matte fender flairs, vs painted. Like the additional ride height, and will not want to lift in future.

Mileage isn't a huge issue, unless it is pushing it past 170,000. Need to get a few years out of it without a ton of repairs. Price is flexible, as long as it is worth it in the shape it appears.

A great example of my vision is like the one member name "Fireball" had. I also lost the chance to buy that one due to timing. I live in northeast Ohio, but it wont stop me from traveling if the car is worth it!

I haven't found mine yet, but this tool is really helping. Thank you T4R forum for all the good info I've discovered on this site.

Have you tried using Adhuntr to search all of craigslist? It works pretty well, although you will find a lot of "this ad has been removed" and some listings don't show up for some reason. There is a nice black 5spd in NH with high miles but clean. Also there's a auto black 2000 sport (very similar) near me. I may go look at it just to get a feel of a 3rd gen 4runner. It looks clean with only 128K. PM me if you want the line on them. I'm looking for a green one with a 5spd and locker. Let me know if you find mine!

Yes there is a finders award. I seem to have purchased too many girl scout cookies from my neighbor... If you find the perfect 4R I will send you a box of the thin mints...

I would grab yours up in a second! A stock Highlander with 285's might not even clear the top, but hopefully! I would die to get your runner.

Also, my girl doesn't drive stick, and I dont have any patience to teach her.
