Hello all

I'm looking for a extra clean 1st gen 4runner anywhere in North America / Canada. I will pay top dollar for a extra clean and close to stock as possible 1st gen 4runner. Some modifications are fine too.
I have been searching for one since my 88 that I had when i was 22, which was a long time ago. I will arrange pickup and transportation regardless of where the truck is located and I will go any distance to get the right one. I am open to all options, considering how hard they are to come by now.
I am located in Burlington Ontario,Canada. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi there,

I don't have a 1st gen. But I was browsing craigslist recently and came across a couple ads if you're interested. I'm in Reno, NV. One sounds like it might need some work, but I'll post it anyway. I haven't contacted either, so I don't know anything about them other than what it says in the ad.

Here are the listings:

1985 4runner

Hi - I may have the vehicle you're looking for. It's an 85 4runner that is stock. It's a 4x4, 5 speed manual transmission, 22re fuel injected, straight axle. The first engine went 284,000 miles - this engine has just under 100,000. I am the original owner & have all receipts for work done. It's been taken care of by the same mechanic it's entire life. The top has never been off. The interior is in good shape - driver seat upholstery is worn. It does need a new paint job - it's red with white top. Unfortunately, it now has a salvage title because my husband hit a rock with the left front end. No damage to frame - new fender and front bumper are on. It's just been smogged, passed all light & brake inspections, and is ready to go to a new owner. It's been my baby for so long, hard to let it go but the times has come. If you're interested I can send pics.

CK, still looking for one? I've got an '89 pretty much stock. I bought it a few years ago with the hope of using it as my summer car but a few other projects took priority. It's got a crap load of extra parts in the trunk. 3rd Member needs to be replaced, as well as the exhaust. It's located in Toronto.
 
I am still looking for sure and keeping all options open until I find the right one. Do you have any pictures?
