Hey guys I've been lurking around here for a while. Interested in getting a 3rd gen 4Runner however most of the ones I've seen in the general area were in pretty bad shape (either rusted to hell or semi-maintained but the interior is in such bad shape that you just don't want to even get inside). One guy had pitbulls in his yard when I got there. I see this pristine looking '97 in the driveway. Look underneath, almost no rust (beyond unusual in the city). I open the driver's side door to pop the hood and it clearly becomes evident that he let his pitbulls live in that car... it was a nightmare... no vehicle deserves anything like what I saw in there. It was a shame too cause the engine ran strong and everything under the hood was clean.
So anyhow, I'm not having any luck finding a 4Runner here in somewhat decent shape. Don't care if it's an SR5 or a limited and I'm willing to travel as far out as PA if necessary for a 4Runner that's worth it. Thanks!
