wanting to buy a 3rd gen 4runner with low miles (anything under 150k) and great condition that's preferably an automatic and maybe possible e-locker...

anywhere from Virginia down to the southeast or surrounding states of North Carolina

-any model is fine
-4x4
-Under $12,000
-Must have service history (more concerned about maintenance )

-Any color works for me!

I would check craigslist. I live in NC as well and found my 96 for $3000 with 196k miles, but with a 12k budget you'll find what you're looking for.

Man, I have EXACTLY what you're looking for...
98 104k miles e-locker black and about to have 2 new tires on it... BUT IM IN ILLINOIS!

buy min 02 with 103K timing belt and water pump were done at 98K
tuned up replaced all belts and O2 sensors with the battery..
