You should be able to go to a glass shop and have a piece cut and stuck on pretty cheap.

I obtained a cut piece of glass but I thought/assumed that the current glass popped out of the plastic surround it is in which is not the case. the black surround/glass are one piece.
I have that cut piece stuck on for now over the OE broken one but really hate doing stuff "the wrong way" and could like to obtain the correct equipment.
dealer has it for $69 bucks but I'm sure a used piece or piece bought from some online website that I have yet to be able to locate could be had for cheaper.
