WTB 3rd gen in Texas

Hey everyone, I'm new here (first post, yay) anyway, I've been in the market for a 4runner for a while now and my search has led me here. I was debating between a 2nd and 3rd gen and feel like I have decided on a 3rd.

I will have $5000 to spend. I know it's not a lot, I could spend more but only on the right vehicle. I've got some put away but we are looking to buy a house soon so some needs to go that.

I would like a 3rd gen, modded is ok (in fact would love to find one with new bumpers at least), nothing crazy (although for what I am wanting to spend I doubt any crazy mods will be included).

I am in Nacogdoches, Texas, willing to travel but has to be within reason.

I've outgrown my GTI, tired of being low, tired of it being small. My family has recently grown from 3 to 5 and the GTI just will not work at all anymore. I got my wife a suburban recently so moving all of us is covered, I just need something bigger for myself that will fit more than 2 comfortably...and I've always liked 4 runners/land cruisers.

Sorry I went on a bit, just giving an idea of the situation I'm in. If anyone knows anything that might fit my needs, please let me know! I'm not having really good luck finding the "right" one.
