ADD ME to the list, after Stones, needing the factory rack (or just the mount channels)) to mount a Baja type rack. My runner is a slicktop (only has the plastic channel inserts) where the rack mounts. THANKS

For the money, why dont you just go to a local shop and have them make some custom brackets, then you can fit it (win number 1), and it will sit flush with your rig making it look better (win number 2). My .02

I thought about your suggestion. I have wondered if I could take out the placeholder strips where the rack channels go, and bolt a rack to those mounting points. I can't seem to get an answer to this, or to whether someone makes a rack and the mounting hardware to mount it that way.

Anyone know? thanks!
