I think that one sold within hours of listing. I tried to jump on it as soon as I could but the seller never got back to me. Now its deleted. The used 4runner market in Colorado is brutal.
Yup, I emailed three times. That one was a very fair asking price. So, still looking.
There are a couple decent ones at dealers here too, but they insist on selling $5k over market value.

I will say you also need to be aware of the low mileage units as well. Usually they haven't had the 4wd engaged properly at least once a month and you could be looking at an expensive actuator repair. Just a heads up! Good luck on the search I know it took me about a year and half and I ended up driving 6 hours out of state to find a clean unit with 72k on it. :whoo:
That's really good advice, thank you. I test drove a GX470 at the dealer and tried going through the gearing out on a dirt road. Engine shook and check engine light came on when I pressed down on the gas. I passed on the truck.
Any advice on being able to tell if the actuator is out?
I found one in Boise that looks clean that I'm trying to have someone check out. Also found a very clean 09 V8 Limited that someone is asking $28k(!!!) for. So delusional IMO.

Anyone have an opinion on this truck? It's a NY car which worries me for rust but is pretty much what I'm looking for. Being sold in VA by Koons Toyota.

I've seen some New York cars out here in the West after they've spent a few winters on the East Coast. The undercarriages are quite rusty.
Have the pre-purchase inspector check for rust on the usual areas under the car but also on the rear door water drainage points. There are three of them; two on the sides and one in the middle. In my searches, I've found the door drains good indicators that car may have seen some rough winters with their special sprays they use in the Rust Belt.
You may be able to get the dealer to send you more photos of any areas of concern.
