WTB - 85-89 1st gen 4Runner

Looking for a 1st gen 4Runner 85-89. Not hung up on the year but do want the standard EFI 22re. Would prefer something close to stock as I want to DD it. Don't want to beak the bank but I got a little to spend.

I'm located in Little Rock AR but would travel for the right one.

Hey man, came across this listing in Michigan. Super low miles (almost too low, in my opinon...might be skeptical). No pictures to see any rust underneath, but only one small spot on one panel from the pics.

Might be worth a call at least!

In Phoenix/Tucson, AZ Craigslist there were 2 solid axle 1st Gen and 3 IFS 1st Gen for sale. They were there at 10am today.

Sorry guys, I haven't checked this thread in a couple days. I actually picked one up on Monday. 1988 Dlx 221k. Engine was rebuilt 60k ago and it has zero rust. I mean zero. Drove it home from FT Worth and it did great. Even got 24mpg on the way back! Interior is clean but it's gonna need a paint job as it spent a good part of it's life in AZ. Already got some PM stuff ordered from my parts guy and will be tacking the saggy rear tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads up though.

Edit: tried to get them right side up but can't figure out how to do that from my phone. My advice is to stand on your head while viewing.

Well hanging it upside down should help to get rid of the sagging rear end. lol
