WTB: Factory Roof Rack Cross Bar

Pretty self explanatory, I am looking to buy a factory roof rack cross bar for a 4th gen. I am toying with the idea of making it into a removable roof mounted light bar and I want an extra cross bar to mess with/use.

Let me know if you have one that you are willing to part with!

There used to be a nice list of all the Toyota part recyclers state-by-state but I have yet to be able to find it :bash:

You couldn't remove them without removing the Hi-Lift... Can't remove the Hi-Lift without the combination to my cable lock. :D
 
I saw a couple with a quick Google search. Both were posted on Craigslist, one in Phoenix and the other was Denver. In both cases, they were $75 for the pair of crossbars.

I know this doesnt help much, but I have two that I would sell, but they are in storage. Can't get this until at least June. If you still want them by then, look me up.

Nothing much. Just trying to crank out these returns. The deadline is almost here. Woohoo! Can't wait until April 16th so I can go wheeling!.

I don't mind the wait. This is just "another project" that is on the drawing board. I probably will not even get to it until June or July.

Did you have a chance to go to Hollister Hills yet?

cool, I'll consider them taken then for you guys and PM Josh to see if he's still planning on rolling up here...

Hollister has been closed to 4x use for almost all of March/April with private events so I got a crew rolling out to Stanislaus Country for a wheel this Sunday about 6 rigs - looking forward to it. Then we are rolling up to the Sierras for a mid-week trip with a couple other forum guys!

Sorry to hi-jack the post with wheel trips, but we should have some great pictures soon.

I actually am no longer in the market for cross bars, I ended up getting a used roof basket as it was more practical and already had some light tabs on it.

I will post up pics tomorrow :D
 
Anyone have extra factory crossbars for 2006 sport?

Are any of these still out here? I would like to add 2 crossbars to my newly acquired 2006 sport. From searching the posts it looks like plenty of people have removed them in favor of some aftermarket gear.

I have found a full OEM roof rack from a dealer in San Diego for $195 on ebay. I don't plan to spend that much on just the crossbars. I have also seen some crossbars that are not specifically for the sport rack, and I wonder if they can be used interchangeably. I would imagine someone has experience with this. If not, I will soon find out as I have ordered 2 from Elroy Toyota in LA. Hopefully they work.
