In the midst of a US overland trek, and looking to swap out my rear coils to help with the extra weight I’m carrying.
Currently running the 2” OME 901 HD’s in the rear with a 1.25” coil spacer. Springs are on their last legs I think. Well over 150,000km on them and I am definitely overloaded with all the gear and new kitchen setup I’ve built. I have a bit of the saggy bum syndrome going on and need to rectify it before I head off to the deep backcountry.
In Pismo Beach as of this writing, heading to Bakersfield the day after tomorrow. Across to Death Valley NP for a few days, then working our way down to southern Cali/Arizona after that.
If anyone has some used FJ80 coils they want to let go I’m your guy. Or if you can point me in the direction of some reasonably priced new ones (6 months of overlanding = tight budget)
Would prefer to avoid shipping as I don’t have an address but beggars can’t be choosers. I don’t even mind taking a bit of a detour, gives me an excuse to see more countryside.
