Hello all,

I am interested in purchasing a great 4Runner for myself. I am looking at the newer 4th gen body style, but prices on those are pretty high (I'd prefer a nice 2003/04). Looking for a V6 there, with 4x4 and a manual transmission. But.. a nice 2000-2002 (with light modifications) would be nice as well. I am located in the Bay Area, CA, so let me know what you have. I would like to stay under $18,000.

So.. V6, manual transmission, and 4x4 are a must.

Correct. The V6 came with a 4-speed automatic in 2003 and 2004. If I remember correctly, in the 2005 model was when the 5-speed was added to the V6. The V8 has had the 5-speed automatic since 2003.
