I'm at a crossroads in my build direction and with a lift kit and a whole bunch of other stuff on the way I'm not sure what wheels I want anymore.
I was dead set on the Mickey Thompson Classic II polished look for my Bighorn 255/85R16's but have recently read a few reviews saying they aren't as well finished as MT wheels in the past and that pitting is a problem. With a ton of road salt each winter up here in MA I'm not about to drop $500 on wheels that will last a year. I take great care of my vehicles and the T4R will be no different, but washing and polishing my wheels in the driveway in February just ain't going to happen...
Anyone had bad (or good) experience with late model MT polished wheels in crummy environments?
Also, I'm open to entertain any sales pitches for a set of 16x7-16x8 wheels as long as they're in near new condition ('01-'02 5 spokes, anything TRD or something similar in looks to the MT Classics come to mind :tongue
Any insight is appreciated as I'm running out of time before things start showing up in the mail and I don't have the self control to look at uninstalled parts for very long...
