Do you think it is better to wait for the newer body style to come out? I was just about to pull the trigger on a 2018 4Runner. I don't want to buy something that will be outdated next week :sniper:

4runners hold their value really well, unless you are buying it with absolutely terrible financing you can easily just sell yours and get a new one when it comes out if you want to upgrade

there is also the chance that toyota does something stupid like change the 4runner to a soft crossover in which case the value of your 4runner would go up a lot (i'm not convinced they would do this, but it's possible)

Wow! Lots of Negative Nancys in here. The post was a joke as therehas been 234,762 threads started on the 6th Gen since 2016...


And I couldn't justify the truck. The space issue is the same with both thw T4R and taco. But the Tundra gets us the V8 so we'd buy a trailer instead. Back to looking for an Off Road Pro w/ KDSS and sunroof for the wife.
