WTT: My 3rd gen SR5 flares for limited flares

I like the wider flares. Mine are the textured flat black early SR5 flares as you can see. I know on latter 3rd gens the SR5 came with either mine or the wide flares. But I believe mine are commonly called the SR5 flares. I am looking for a set of black wide flares ideally. However, I might be willing to work with another color since I can paint them. Thanks

I believe the limited will not fit, the ffenders, bumpers, and doors have holes in them for the flare clips, the sr5's do not. IMO, your flares look the best anyway.

yep if i take my limited off there will be hoes everywhere, but i gotta say wide flare looks pretty sweet

I know the limited flares bolt on, which means I would have to do the holes myself. This has been done several times. Also, why wouldnt my flares cover up the holes on a runner with limited flares? Im pretty sure they are tall enough, just not as wide.

you just need to cut three holes in the bumper to fit the end piece.

If I remember correctly the Limited flares cover more of the side than the skinny version and the holes would show.

Limited fender flare Install - YotaTech Forums

This guy did it on his car. Looks good but costs as much as the bushwacker flares. I bought three sets to make one before but ended up backing out because a shop wanted 600 for the install.. however I needed to paint too. The SR5 flares don't mount the same way because when you take them off they don't leave any holes on your car.
