WTT my K&N CAI for your stock assembly

Hello All,

I just picked up a 2004 4Runner and it came with a K & N Cold Air Intake. There is nothing wrong with it but I just don't like the sound of it so I was hoping in I could trade it with someone who is looking to replace their stock system. I live in the Seattle area so hopefully someone local... otherwise I'm not sure how to do this since this rig is my daily drive.

Anyone know of a site where I could potentially buy the OEM assembly?

Why are you guys with CAIs looking to go back to stock? Curious, are the power gains not noticeable? Too loud?

Im not sure about the power gains... I think that is debatable. The main reason why I am looking to go back to stock is because of the sound. It really gets quite loud when you bring it towards the upper RPM's - It just not my cup of tea.

4th gen 4runners come stock with a CAI. Aftermarket CAI's are a waste of money! Get a drop in filter and it'll do the same as a CAI.
