WTT: Shadow Mica Sport hood

I have a '07 Sport on order, and I expect it to be in sometime in April. I would like to swap the hood out for a regular hood (without the scoop) as soon as it comes in. I would prefer to swap with someone who has a shadow mica hood in mint condition, as my truck will be brand new.

I realize the Sport hood is relatively desirable, so I am asking for $250 in addition to the swap, plus any install costs (if applicable). I do not mind swapping the parts ourselves.

I am located near Boston, but would be willing to drive a few hours to perform the swap.

Just realized you have an '07 mine is an 05 and not sure if they're the same or if the lines changed- I know the grille is different but not sure if they're interchangeable.

I suspect that theyre not the same. At the very least, the 06+ grills are bolted through the hood, so there are extra holes in the newer style.

Besides, they didnt offer Shadow Mica in '05, and Im looking for a drop-in swap. Sounds like it wouldnt have worked after all!

It seems like I'm following you around chat boards here... I actually have an '07 SR5 - Shadow Mica and want the Sport Hood with the scoop. Only thing is, I don't want it bad enough to spend and extra $200 and I don't have any plans to travel up your way anytime in the near future. Just wanted to throw out that if you're down this way anytime soon and interested in the even swap, that I've got the hood you are looking for.

Matt, small world! Ive got no plans as of yet to be down that direction anytime soon. Theres an outside chance that Ill be passing through next winter, though. Maybe you'd consider joining the caravan heading from NC to Wisconsin in July and I could meet you there!
