X-reas and lift; can I swap out my V8 4WD coils for taco coils?

Anyone know or try? I don't want to give up my x-reas. I've looked at some of the coil spacers and top out spacers but would rather go with slightly longer springs.

Also if anyone knows the specs of the coils? I understand they are all the same rate (4Runner, Taco, FJ), and they just vary in length. What are the lengths?

I don't know about Taco springs. Within the 4x4's V6 and V8 T4R's use a 580lb/in 340mm/345mm spring. The FJC uses a spring that is of an unknown rate (to me) that's a little over 350mm long with a thicker barstock than the T4R springs. FJC rear springs are same length as T4R springs but of a heavier rate.

I'd love to know what the Taco springs are...

Assuming the Taco springs are not too much stiffer, you can certainly use the Taco front springs with your X-REAS shocks. You can even disconnect the X-REAS shock from the system, at the specified joint, without loosing any oil (may a drop or two), just make sure the joint is clean before disconnecting it, and re-connecting it.

I used OME springs with my X-REAS for over a year (not recommended). These springs are too strong for the X-REAS, and the X-REAS shocks don't have enough rebound control for the OME springs.
