HID or halogen?

When you talked about bulb replacement, for some reason, halogen came to mind but now I guess that you meant HID. If you were talking about HID when you said xenon then I think you are going to have to buy a kit, not just replacement bulbs.

Who in the US sells HID kits for 2003/2004 4Runners?

i found the solution...i did some research and i found a "xenon plasma" bulb that fits 03 4runners, and its only $30 for a pair of them. they are very similar in wattage, as the stock lights are 51W and the ones i found are 55W, so hopefully since its close there wont be a need for a kit. i just bought the bulbs today and installed them in 10 minutes and they look great from what i can tell in the day time.

What type of kit?

jOmamma what type of kit did you use and where did you get it in Ontario Canada. I live in London and would love to do the same.

A company called Johnston Research and Performance sell HID kits from a company called Acumen's...

They where cheap, and they looked alright in my buddies STI, so I tried them, I am happy...

This website offers some interesting reads about the various type of aftermarket light bulbs. Specifically debunking some of the "blue" tinted bulbs. A while back I bought some "white plasma" bulbs from Summitt and the light was definitely more white with a hint of blue, but the overall output didn't seem to light the road as well. I replaced them with the Sylvania SilverStars other have mentioned and the output was noticeably better. Sounds like J0mama got the real thing: HID capsules and high-voltage transformers.

J0mama: What type of HID driving lights did you get? Hella? Got any pics of how they were mounted? I only see the factory fogs in that last pic you attached.
BTW - that Supra must be insanely fast with a T78 in it...I road in a T66 (IIRC) that ran 10.3@135MPH (auto).

For my low beams and my fog lamps...

Yes it is really bright... No one has given me highbeams to complain yet, so I'm not complaining.

My Supra?

Well since I can't get it to hook outta the hole, but I did a 1/4 in 142 mph.... hehehehe
