Xenon LED Won't Latch?

I asked this question awhile back in the Xenon thread before buying, but nobody answered. Hoping this will reach someone who may have had this issue, or I can be told I'm an idiot and am doing something wrong.

Year ago I installed some HIDNY LED bulbs in my CR-V, loved them and how they lit the road up, naturally I wanted them in my 4Runner. With the CR-V having the same low and high beams, I went to swap them over, however they wouldn't latch in on the low beam, and the high beam wouldn't work.

Being they were HIDNY I figured it must just be an issue for a cheaper brand. Was told these would snap in place via email and I wouldn't run into any issues, yet here I am trying to install them and the low beam will not latch in. They go on, but don't latch. The moment I go over some decent bumps or offroading, they'll become loose for sure.

I thought maybe I was using the wrong plug, so I tried to fit the other two just in case I was crazy and nothing. All do the same. Did the same with/without the CANbus. I didn't bother with the high beam yet.

Am I doing something wrong. Did anyone have issues installing the LED's like I have? I put some good force down and they would not latch, so I don't believe I'm being too soft on them.

Emailed the company, but they can take a little to get back to you so hoping someone here can answer quicker.

I'm actually further up North in Fresno. Had to drive down there to get the 4Runner and I haven't put the plates on yet hoping my specialized ones come soon.

Thanks for the offer though!

If you talking just about the high beams. I just did this install and mine went with out problem and I also did the fog lights. I did all three, the fogs and headlights and high beams/DRL. The LED kit for the low beams is another story. I emailed them and they got back to me and said they should work with no problem. I am not sure how hopefully I will get to look at it again when I get time. I love the look of them for sure and output is good. Hopefully the headlights work out. I did the LED kit and not the HID for headlights because I didn't want to drill the dust cap.

Are you connecting the oem plug directly to the led bulb inside the housing?

I did two different try's.

The first one I did was use the CANbus relay thing. I connected the OEM plug into that, and then that into the section that connects to the LED. Wouldn't latch.

I did the same process just without the relay, still wouldn't latch.

It's as if it goes on 99% of the way, but something is preventing it from snapping into the lock place.

I've looked at the directions and believe I'm doing everything correctly. Don't think I'm doing anything incorrect.

So neither the bulb nor the harness will latch to the oem plug inside the housing? Are the prongs all aligned? Try flipping the plug over (upside down). Can you not gently force the latch over the Ridge?

I've flipped them as well and no luck. I didn't try putting the clip over, but from what I remember it was about center with the area just before the hole if you want to call it that. I'll check tomorrow if I can push it over.
