just to give you a heads up, the Xtreme HIDs are bright... i'm talking as bright as your high beams bright, so make sure you adjust the lights down to avoid blinding everyone as well as yourself.

The lights will be bright howver they will not illuminate where your high beams illuminate as the bulbs are designed to replicate your OE Low beam pattern.

i was on a dark highway and tried using the highbeams with the hids... there wasn't that much of a difference to me. i just know i need to adjust them a bit.

what do you suggest for my 89 4runner, and my 93 celica? both have sealed beams now want HID. do you sell housings too? i believe i need H4/200mm rectangle housings

I can answer the factory alarm part. When you turn off the car and press the lock button twice, lights turn off. I haven't tested the auto shutoff, but assumes it works since it cuts off when I arm the alarm.

Thanks for your reply , I was just wondering about if the alarm was to be set off the headlights flash and was wondering if that would blow the bulbs ?

It won't blow the bulbs, but it's not good for the HID system either. Repeated flashing of the HID system will shorten its life span.
