I think my 2010 LTD JBL Stereo sounds wonderful through Bluetooth on my iPhone whether it's MP3 or Pandora. No wires to deal with except a charger cable if you don't want to drain your cellphone battery . Why pay for music when there is Pandora ? You might hear 1 commercial for 20-30min of music . I have an unlimited data plan on iPhone . Even if one has a limited data plan streaming music is not a big drawn down of data compared to video.
If I need a traffic report I'll switch over to local AM radio station reports or the public traffic report given by the highway dept (last resort because the reception is dismal for any radio)
I was an XMradio subscriber when I owned a Chevy Silverado . I had a few billing issues & customer service for that was not good unless I was giving them my credit card for a re-up ( lol ) . Besides even with 150+ stations it's like cable TV , you only tune into a handful & you have no way of knowing what is next in the cue with any un-manned radio station.
BTW , there maybe some sound degradation with a Bluetooth audio setup but really it's in a suv with a ton of distracting white noises all around (diesel engines, ambulances ,horns etc ..)
ps: the former Bose stereo I had DID spank my 4Runners 15 speaker JBL.
