I have a 2007 Limited V8 with the factory nav system, and had to buy the following to get XM (about a year ago):
I think the receiver is installed under the passenger seat, and the antenna is on the roof by the rear hatch. I am not real happy with the antenna mount, as when I am driving at interstate speeds or there is a strong crosswind, I get a buzz/rattle from the wire vibrating against the roof. I suppose I can just tape the wire down (it is totally hidden by the spoiler), but I think I will make them fix it next time I am in for service.
The XM is integrated pretty well with the nav system, though there are only three presets you can access with the "Mode" switch on the steering wheel. And you have to tune the XM channels with the knob on the nav, as the up/down tuning switch on the steering wheel just resets the selected preset to channel 1. And when you select the text screen to see the current song and artist, it often truncates the name if there are more than some modest number of letters.
The sound quality is extremely good.

I just bought the SLX module from Vais Technology. The integration is digital quality through your cd changer port. It also provides an additional aux input if you ever need it.
I mounted the SLX and XM Tuner under the passenger floorboard towards the front. Then ran the antenna wire along the passenger side flooring plastic.
Hint: To anyone mounting the antenna themselves. Place the antenna on the top of the truck first then run the small part of the wiring under spoiler and through the floor plastics. If you don't the antenna is to large to fit between the liftgate and top of the truck. I learned the hard way!

We have ONE Roady XT radio and use it in BOTH cars and on the home stereo. Installation of the cars adapters cost about $75 each from Circuit City plus the cost of the adapter, so figure $100 per car if you get a good deal on the adapter, like from eBay. The home stereo adapter cost about another $50, but all this stuff works like a champ, and we only have ONE XM subscription, which I was ble to get for like $7.99/month. We really like the XM on trips, but seldom bother taking the little radio out of the home adapter and putting it in the car for a trip to the store. Reception sucks in steep canyons and tunnels.
