Would an 06 4 Runner (not limited) be XM ready or will I need to go aftermarket?

It does not have the am-sat button. It has the cd/aux button.

My guess would be that you need to go aftermarket. If your radio doesn't have the AM-SAT button mentioned before I am guessing that there also is no antenna pre-installed.

If you get an aftermarket headunit with XM check my write-up for a way to completely hide the XM antenna while still getting great signal!
