hey guys, well i have a profile over on Yotatech but figured i should get a build thread up since its nice to hear ur feedback on the mods and wat not.

Well i got her as my first car when i turned 16 so i didnt really have a choice on deciding whether it could be 4x4 or not. Well since then i slowly started to add mods without causing pandemonium with the parents. I first installed 2 sets of offroading lights on the 4runner (PIAA/BAJA). Then i added window tint and Pilot reverse lights so see better at night. After about running in the 4runner for about 8 months i bought a sound system...

Well i drove around like this for 3 years before i was able to get the parents off my back about not modding the 4runner since they love the cars to be kept stock. So i purchased the OME 882/891 with comfort shocks after doing years and years of googling and extensive research. At the same time i ordered TRD decals...












After that i finally got around to doing the DRL disable mod and couldnt have been happier bc i was also so distracting when sitting in parking lots at night...

After running with my stock 265/70/16 tires i was able to get a set of BFG all-Terrains at a great deal from a friend who works at discount tires. so i was more then happy to finally be running 285/75/16s.

After laying low for a few months i purchased a Rola Vortex roof rack... Around this time i also removed the running boards.








After having my car broken into on my birthday i upgraded my alarm to a Viper 5901 and had replacement items for everything that was lost. So i created a hidden spot for the GPS so it could not be seen as easily...












After this i upgraded my silverstar headlights to HIDs so that i would have better lighting on the road.

After purchasing and waiting nearly 2 months i finally received my Gobi ladder for the driver side of the rear hatch... it was an ordeal to install but was very pleased with the end result.

Then came my ARB Deluxe Tacoma Bumper and Pioneer Avic-D3. These items were not planned on the items to be added but im glad i decided to get both

The day after the ARB bumper went on i felt that there was something missing so i went out and got a pair of Hella 500FFs for the bumper so help complete the look.

I just received my LC 9 Wraps coils in the mail yesterday so hopefully ill have them on sometime between this weekend and the next...

thnx 99NWA4R and Tim! ya i need to find some time soon to get those LC coils bc its kill me that my 4runner looks so low to the ground from the rear compared to the front now with the ARB...

so im thinking of taking off my wheel spacers in the rear and if i can get some money soon i might pick up those Tunda/Sequoia rims that were painted black.

Nice build thread. How much rake are looking to get with those 9 wraps? The ARB was a good purchase.

ya im really glad i got the ARB bumper also... at first i wasnt too sure but everytime i look at the 4runner, i smile! haha

umm im not exactly sure on how much rake i will be getting with the 9 wraps since i havent really gotten a definite answer since every person's rig is slightly different and it all depends on what they carry day-to-day but im assuming 1-1.5" of rake in the rear.

So i may be picking up those rims if they are still available... i am scheduled to meet a buyer for my brush guard tomorrow! What do u guys think, should i get the blacked out sequoia rims or stick with my stockers?

the rig is looking good! that bumper is killer i want one. i'd say stick with the wheels you got but thats just my $.02

ya ive been wanting an ARB bumper since day one of owning my 4runner but didnt think it was gonna happen anytime soon but found a good deal and decided to take the plung. Very very happy with that decision!

im kinda unsure if i want them or not... i really want black TRD FJ rims but since i cant afford those i thought bout getting these bc i dont like the fact that my rims are on all the other stock 4runners. Im still partial to both tho so its a hard decision for me to make...

ya gonna sell the brush guard tom and if the guy with the rims emails me back that he still has them then i might go pick them up...

Well i got in contact with the guy who had the rims and he said they were already gone so looks like i missed out. Well pretty happy though bc i just got back from getting my LC coils put on and i love the new stance... only have pics of the installation but will get some good clean shots in the morning.

Great build post, gives me an idea of what my 3rd gen can become with enough love. Amazing how much taking the running boards off makes a difference huh?

lol ya but i didnt take mine off til after i got my OME lift on there... sry for not getting the pics on here today. Had to work but i promise ill have them up since tom is my day off and ill be adding my ISR mod and diff breather in tomorrow also!
