Thank you for the feedback, and I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing a problem.

(1) 99.9% the issue you are experiencing is related to polarity as the drivers are polarity sensitive. I've seen it happen where the plug on the OE wiring is wired differently between sides as the stock halogen bulb is not polarity sensitive. Do you have a volt meter by chance? If not, give us a call, @ 1-877-522-2701 and we'll help get this sorted out for you.

(2) Just a tip - When you install the kit, make sure that the diodes are facing 3 and 9 o'clock. Our bulbs are clockable, so you can adjust the bulb head to ensure the diodes are facing left and right for the best light output -- it makes a big difference.

Not the greatest picture, but you can see how much better the hotspot is on the right side with the diodes clocked properly:

Steve, I tried both positive and negative connections with no luck. Then took the other LED bulb and plugged it in and it worked. The other that has yet to work was plugged in both ways on both sides using both harnesses. I called your number 10 minutes ago...maybe your closed?

[MENTION=12905]XenonDepot[/MENTION] Day 2 No Luck. So I connected everything as per your provided instructions and they don't turn on. I swapped out the bulb and nothing, swapped out the harness and nothing. Can't get any combination to turn on.

See my attached images for reference and let me know if I'm doing something wrong. Otherwise we have a pair of DOAs [emoji31]

Ok my bad on this one I figured it out. I didn't read your situation fully so excuse me if this has been tested.

Make sure that when you plug in the bulb harness you're lining up the arrows. They're tiny hence why I missed them.

Also make sure harness that connects to itself is Black on positive. See attached and I hope it helps.

Thanks for the update. I hadn’t seen the arrows, so I’ll give that a shot. I’ve been connecting Black to positive however. I’ll report back in a few hours once I give it another go. There wasn’t any mention of lining up the arrows in the instructions, was there? Was too dark in my garage to notice them.

I would take a closer look at the areas in the install that [MENTION=165249]delaWeb[/MENTION] mentioned and I'm sure it will also help resolve the issue you are facing. But I'll send you a PM so we can get this resolved for you.

It was the arrows!!! Woke up early this morning and tried again, this time aligning the small hard to see arrows. Boom! Light works.

For any potential buyers out there, make sure you align the arrows during install. This information is absent in the instruction.

I did align the bulbs exactly as mentioned in the follow up instructions I was provided.

[MENTION=165249]delaWeb[/MENTION] I haven’t driven at night to fully test the pattern yet. Have you messed with clocking the bulb at all? There wasn’t any mention in the write up of doing so. Keep us posted if you end up rotating the bulb a bit as I assume that info will be valuable to all 5th gens with this LED. Yours definitely seems to have a hot spot on the passenger side, similar to what XD outlined in their tutorial. I’ll take mine out tonight and snap a picture to capture the dispersement.

I put in the low beam, high beam and fog light LED bulbs from Xenon.

The low beam LEDs are not as bright as going to HID, but I really like them. The low beams are just slightly brighter than stock, but that is what I was looking for and I love the color compared to the stock halogens.

The high beams and fog lights are holy shit now!

The Philips 4300K HID bulbs will color shift to 4700K after about 100 hours of usage and they are also rated to be 100-150 lumens brighter than our XenonDepot 4300K bulbs.

I'll give it another wack tonight and hopefully and get this right. To be honest I expected a Plug & Play option and maybe that was my bad for not having researched further. These are more like Plug & Pain.

I recommend you forward the instructions you provided here to customers at the time of sale and not after and furthermore include in the instructions that those barely visible arrows on the bulb plugs must be aligned. As you can see in this thread I'm not the only one that experienced issues on install.

Not trying to bash your product by the way just venting and giving you some constructive criticism. Who knows maybe once I get them right I'll fall in love with them, just sucks that I've invested the time I have on the install and have yet to enjoy them.

[MENTION=165249]delaWeb[/MENTION] - I get it, and apologize for the inconvenience. Those connectors are keyed, but i guess with a little force you can plug them in backwards (I just tried).

Definitely check the clocking on the bulb, as it will make a huge differnce in terms of beam pattern.

I waited until the condensation was all gone and sealed up the dust cover grommet with silicone. Now, the condensation is twice as bad as before. Anyone have any ideas how I can track down the leak/opening that is making it condensate?

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing a problem.

(1) Double check that it's not a function of the OE headlight seal, as I remember seeing a couple of threads on here where members ended up finding out that the condensation was a function of a faulty seal.

(2) What size hole did you drill in the dustcover?

1. Ok, how do I test the headlight housing for a seal leak?
2. I had a shop do the install. I checked the grommet and it is nice and tight and the passenger side is just fine, only the drive side. I did go back up to the shop and he suggested the silicone, so that is when I did that. I probably need to go back up to the shop I had do the install.
