Any of you guys use these newer saddles directly on your factory flat crossbars?
Do you get any flopping or dipping motion of your boats at slow or high speed due to the flexing of the bars?
I currently have a full set of Yakima bars and towers attached to my factory rack. Everything works very well. But been thinking of scaling back to the factory bars and Aero saddles, that will get my boat a little lower. Because I'm thinking of upgrading my Hobie Revolution13 to the much heavier Pro Angler14 ( +/- 120lbs).
I bet everyone here has seen an SUV going down the road with a large boxy rooftop storage box and noticed how some wobble forward and back. Don't want that for sure! I do have lots of experience and miles hauling boats via rooftop.
