Just got my Yakima Holdup bike rack. So far I'm very, very happy with it.
Thought I'd share some pics of it mounted on my 2010 Limited.
very nice, how many bikes can you carry on it?
Two in its current configuration. You can carry another two (total of 4) with an attachment.

Nice rack and nice bike. Those racks are great and i wish i had one for my down hill bike as it is a bit difficult to fit on my rack

I would love to have one of those, the only thing i dislike is that if you have a bike on the closest rail to the vehicle it makes it difficult to open the hatch. (with the 4runner that doesn't always matter with the sliding rear window) Thats why most of the time i prefer mine, because i can tip it down to get something out of the trunk.
Looks great though. Hope you are having nice weather out there and had a chance to get a good ride or two in past week.

I have had a few great rides so far. The Holdup actually does tilt downward to allow the hatch to open.

Just installed my Yakima DoubleDown4 this afternoon... Love the nice weather,Give me the urge to drive my 4runner and my Cannondale 
At a local bike shop.
I don't own a 29r, but the front wheel clamp is fully adjustable, so I would forsee no issues at all

Wow that looks like an awesome bike rack. Can it be expanded to 4 bikes? I like how it can double as a bike service stand. I didn't see the Kuat last year, new for '10? When I got the Yakima Holdup, the other options were the Thule T2 and Saris Cycle-On.

Yeah I think they are a very new company - my local bike shop just started carrying them. Check out Kuat Racks it tells a little about their story. Also yes I do believe it can be expanded to carry 4 bikes, but the expansion add-on isn't available yet if I remember correctly.
I hate to ask this type of question but what makes the Kuat NV worth the 495 price tag for only a 2 bike rack?
I haven't seen the rack in person just curious if the little add-ons justify the price. I spent 250 for a Thelma 3 to fit 29er and it is working great. My old Sportwerks required me to air down the tires a few PSI which was annoying.

I'm usually a Thule guy...the equivalent Thule rack was 399 and didn't include locks, hitch pin + lock, trail repair stand, etc... I found it for 475 - the added features that the Thule didn't have justified the price for me.
