Yakima Load Warrior Fairing ideas!

I recently bought a yakima load warrior for my 2000 t4r and it had been horribly fadded and almost looked like a primer gray so i have started to paint it.. also the front wind fairing was pretty faded and real dirty. i was wondering if anyone has painted them or can think of any other way to clean it up! The best idea i can think of is finding some way to paint it without the paint cracking becuase it is flexable plastic then just buying a Yakima Decal to put in place of the original one except pick up a red one to match my other black and red things! any ideas would be great just wanting to brainstorm and see if anyone could think of anything! Thanks in advance!

The front of my fairing has the usual road grime and scratches but if you flip it over it's almost like new and that's probably what I'll do when I put mine back on. I'm going to try to remove the YAKIMA sticker before tho'.

Thats not a bad idea! And just get a new sticker! But if im not mistaken on mine both sides have faded...

That happened to my wife's years ago. She called them and they sent her a brand new one. That's what I'd do.

what did she say? i bought it used so you think it would still work? did she just call yakima and ask for a new one because i would think that they would make you pay!
Thanks!
