Yakima Load Warrior - Need Help Eliminating Wind Noise!

I have a Yakima Load Warrior sitting on Yakima Crossbars on the top of my 2006. When I have the spare tire on top there is virtually no wind noise at all. However, when the basket is empty the noise is VERY loud.

The basket is sitting nearly as far back on the roof as it can go. Any thoughts/tips/tricks on how to eliminate wind noise when empty? Thanks for the help!

If you check the causes of the noise, perhaps can change a accessories.

Do you have a fairing installed?

If not they sell them for the Yakima racks. They will increase your MPGS and get rid of the noise.

Im in the process of making my own out of Acrylic for my Perkins rack.
