Yakima Mighty Mounts for 5th gen crossbar

I am wondering if anyone has found an existing size of Yakima Mighty Mount that fits reasonably well on the 5th gen SR5 factory crossbar? Yakima recommends their universal mount, of which I am not the biggest fan.

I just did some personal research and found out that toyota uses the same crossbars as the 2008-2011 Highlander. So if you're looking for horizontal mighty mounts, the correct size is 23H.

5th Gen Woes

23H mighty mounts perfect fit. However cross bars had to be removed, mighty mounts installed (with bolts in place) and then the cross bars re-installed. My Yakima Mako kayak carriers need 8 mounts total (2 sets). Cheaper than a new tower mount set but more work than I had anticipated. :thanks:

Old thread but I could not find my answer during my search...the 10V Mighty Mount (vertical mount) fits perfectly.

Called yakima for this specific & found out universals work fine have 2 clips & have had zero problems with both my mtn bikes !!
