Yakima Round Bars on 5th Gen Factory Rails

I am looking to start out with just some Yakima rails mounted to the roof. On my 3rd gen the tower mounts were pretty staright forward. On the 5th gen I am wondering how this will work with the rails that are raised.

Anyone running Yakima bars mounted to just the factory rails?

I use Yakima Railgrab towers with my round bars. Newer version of towers are Timberlines.

Can't remember what the towers are called, but yeah, have round bars.

I've been running Yakima cross bars for a little over a year now. They are mounted directly to the factory rails and have worked great. However, after lifting my rig it's too tall for me to get my bikes up there. I'm probably going to have to get rid of them soon and replace them with a hitch rack.

What he said. Super sturdy set-up, holds my CVT tent great (200 plus pounds)
