Yakima Thule Roof Racks 4th Gen

Hey, I currently have a 4th gen SR5 with the factory rack and cross bars. Im looking to remove the factory cross bars and add some thule or yakima ones with the fairing. Has anyone done this? Lets see your pics!

wow, looks great. do you have a sunroof too? is the fairing right behind the sunroof or am i seeing things?

yeah, I have a sunroof. the fairing is over about 1/8th of the back portion of the sun roof (actually, maybe not even that much!). I can still open the sun roof just fine as the fairing has a few rubber feet at the bottom of it so it doesn't scratch or rattle on the glass. the only downside is when the sunroof is open, the fairing forces more air directly down on the driver/passenger than it would normally without the fairing... this doesn't bother me but it is something I noticed when driving with and without the fairing. all in all, I love the setup!

also, I'm not sure if you noticed, but I still have my factory cross bars on. I didn't have to remove them for this setup.

I like your set up with the Yakima cross bars attached to the stock roof rack rails. Does anyone know if Yakima or Thule make a similar mount for the larger roof rack tubes on a 06 Sport? I want to get rid of the stock cross bars and have Yakima or Thule cross bars as I am often carrying surfboards.
