Yakima Vertical Mighty Mounts- Which ones?

Hey guys,
I just purchased my 05 T4R and I'm looking to purchase some yakima mighty mounts to put on my powderhound ski rack and I'm not sure which mounts are the right ones. There are the 2V, 9V, 10V, and the 29V. Any idea which ones are the right ones for the 4 gen factory oval crossbars?

You can buy a universal mount for the powderhound.

I really can't tell what the difference in the "V" numbers are, but I think it might just be a difference in height. I think the oval cross member is a standard size. So like 1V, 4V, they'll all work. From the looks of their website, the vertical mount, no matter which "V", all appears to be the same product #8003501.

I know that my rack, which is an older version, came with everything I needed, and if I recall correctly, the only oval mounts in the package were the ones that fit. All of the new stuff comes with the universal mounts. How come yours doesn't have any?

I'm struggling with this for my 2010, because I just upgraded from an '02. The universal mounts are more than the rack is worth!

Hey I'm in a similar situation wanting to mount a powderhound on my 5th gen factory crossbars. Did you ever figure out which hardware fit your 4th gen?

I have some oval vertical mounts from a prior car. They are stamped "10V". They would work on my 2019 4R OEM crossbars if they were just a hair wider; the inner width of the oval is 2.5". I can get the oval to wrap around the crossbar, but because it is just BARELY too small, the square mounting peg doesn't quite come together, and the ski rack won't fit over it. See picture (the mount isn't white it's gray, that's just the flash).

I think one size bigger would work, but I don't know how they're sized. Yakima doesn't make them any more, which is too bad--instead they now have vertical mounts that are clumsy, overengineered, and of course, expensive.

I will try to find some specs on the other old "V" sizes to see if there is something slightly wider.
