This thread needs some pics

new to me 98 3rd gen SR5 the day I drove it home.

It had a lot of needed work, such as this leaking Diff.
I ground off the rust down to bare metal, then cleaned the surface before applying (smearing JB weld). I let that dry and ground it smooth, as it was very lumpy, before applying a second layer of JB weld. No more leak.

Cleaning and waxing the exterior in the garage. I removed all the SR5 trim and running boards netting me a 4" perceived lift

It looked matte/satin, as if it had never been washed/waxed. The panels felt like a chalkboard. I'm very surprised by how nicely the finish cleaned up.

The Wife was jealous so she gets a 97 Limited.

All the repairs/safety work has been done to my 98 SR5 and it is now on the road. Needed new brakes, a missing cross member, new tires as well as some minor shit.

The dachshund is pretty great. Near basset hound level ears.

I have a 4th gen, but actually think the 3rd gens look a lot better aesthetically. The 4th gens are a little more blobish or something.
